TİKA president Eren commemorates Dr. Sadık Ahmet on 31st anniversary of his passing
Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) President Abdullah Eren, who is originally from Western Thrace, commemorated the late Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the iconic leader of the Turkish community of Western Thrace, on the 31st anniversary of his passing.
In a message shared on social media, Eren paid tribute to Dr. Sadık Ahmet, describing him as the symbolic leader of the Turkish community of Western Thrace.
"I commemorate the late Dr. Sadık Ahmet, the iconic leader of the Turkish community of Western Thrace, with mercy, gratitude and longing on the 31st anniversary of his passing," Eren said.
His post also featured a short video produced using artificial intelligence technology, highlighting Dr. Sadık Ahmet's life and his struggle for the rights of the Turkish community of Western Thrace.
Dr. Sadık Ahmet remains one of the most influential figures in the history of the Turkish community of Western Thrace, remembered for his advocacy of minority rights and democratic representation.
