The owner of Panthrakikos passed away

Tasos Karaolanis, the well-known businessman of Komotini, owner of the Panthrakikos futbol team, succumbed to the coronavirus disease he was caught.

Tasos Karaolanis was taken to Alexandroupolis University Hospital after contracting the coronavirus and was treated in the Covid department.

It was stated that 70-year-old businessman Karaolanis, who caught the coronavirus, had three doses of vaccine against the corona virus. Karaolanis, whose condition worsened despite being vaccinated, was intubated.

Unfortunately, despite all efforts, the owner of the Panthrakikos team died on Tuesday morning, April 5, 2022.

A religious ceremony was held for Karaolanis on Wednesday, April 6 at 12:00 in the Central big church across the Komotini parking lot. Many people from his family, relatives, football community, business world, local administrators and citizens attended the ceremony.

After the ceremony in the church, Karaolanis was buried by his loved ones in the Komotini cemetery.
