The house of a kinsman family burns down in Dimetoka
A fire broke out in the house of a kinsman family living in the town of Dimetoka around 18.00 today.
Having received the news of the fire, the employees of the Dimetoka Fire Brigade Directorate quickly moved to the burning house with their vehicles and started extinguishing works without wasting time.
Having learnt that a fire broke out in the house of the cognate family, Süleyman Macır, the President of the Dimetoka Evros-Meric Muslims Education and Culture Association, and the executives also went to the scene for help.
The cause of the fire, which quickly engulfed the house in a short time and caused great damage to the house, is unknown.
The intervention of the fire brigade, the owner of the house and the neighbours brought the fire under control, but the fire caused great damage. The roof of the house collapsed and the house became unusable.
