Successful participation of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Region in Tourism Exhibitions in Bucharest and Belgrade
The Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace successfully participated in two major tourism exhibitions held simultaneously in Bucharest and Belgrade. The region showcased its tourism potential, promoted local destinations, and strengthened cooperation with the Kavala Chamber of Commerce and tourism industry entrepreneurs.
Promoting the Region's Cultural and Natural Attractions
The Deputy Regional Governor for Tourism, Panagiotis Archontis, highlighted the high interest shown by visitors in the region’s rich cultural heritage and diverse tourism routes. He also noted that media interviews played a key role in promoting AMTH's unique travel experiences.
Strategic Partnerships and Future Prospects
The region’s participation in the Bucharest exhibition was particularly significant, attracting visits from the Greek Ambassador, the Greek Consul, travel agents, hoteliers, and airline representatives. These interactions opened new avenues for tourism development and strengthened AMTH’s presence in international travel markets.
