Schools closed in mountainous areas of Kozlukebir due to snowfall

Adverse weather conditions force school closures in Hemetli, Mehrikoz, and Üşekdere within Kozlukebir municipality.
Snowfall that began in the higher elevations of the Rhodope region on Sunday evening has disrupted education in several mountainous areas of Kozlukebir Municipality.
CLOSURES AFFECT MULTIPLE VILLAGES
All schools in the Hemetli and Mehrikoz regions, as well as the primary school in Üşekdere village—part of the Sirkeli area—have been closed for the day due to poor weather conditions on Monday, 7 April 2025.
Kozlukebir Mayor Erdem Hüseyin issued a public statement confirming the decision:
"All schools in Hemetli, Mehrikoz, and Üşekdere village will be closed on Monday, 7 April, due to adverse weather conditions. The closure will last for one day."
