Sahin Charity Bazaar starts abundantly
The opening of the three-day charity bazaar organised jointly by the Şahin Village Foundation Board, Şahin Education and Culture Association and Şahin Sports Club took place on Monday 14 August with a high participation.
Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, Xanthi MP Hüseyin Zeybek, Mayor of Mustafçova Rıdvan Deli Hüseyin, Deputy Chairman of the FEP Party Bahri Belço, Mayoral Candidates Cemil Kabza, Ahmet Kurt, Önder Meçoğlu and Mücahit Dükkancı, Municipal Council President Hüseyin Buyuklu, Region Assembly Member Candidates and kinsmen from neighbouring villages attended the opening ceremony.
The opening speech of the bazaar was made by Oktay Hoçka, President of Şahin Education and Culture Association. In his speech, President Hoçka firstly thanked everyone who participated and took part in the bazaar. In his speech, Oktay Hoçka especially mentioned the importance of non-governmental organisations for the society and stated that in this way, it is possible to carry out many activities under one roof. Hoçka stated that the only formula for the associations to survive and become stronger is to become a member of the associations and expressed that they expect a greater effort from the kinsmne from Şahin in this regard.
Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, who also spoke at the bazaar, stated that such events are important for the development of the unity and solidarity of the society and for the solidarity spirit to become permanent in the society. Mufti Trampa pointed out that such events, especially those organised by kinsmen with their own efforts, have a separate blessing and in this sense, he emphasised that the intense participation in the Şahin bazaar today was remarkable. Mufti Trampa congratulated everyone who contributed to the organisation of the bazaar.
Şahin Charity Bazaar will continue on Tuesday 15 August and Wednesday 16 August. In addition to the flavours of the Traditional Şahin Cuisine, especially the lahmacun and grilled meatball stands attract great interest.
