Romanian consul general visits Mayor Gkaranis

Dan –Nicolae Dima, Romanian Consul General to Thessaloniki, visited the Municipality of Komotini and met with the Mayor of Komotini, Ioannis Gkaranis.

Romanian Consul General Dima paid a visit to the Municipality of Komotini on Friday.

In the statement made by the municipality on the subject, it was stated that the meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and the friendly relations between the two countries were discussed between the parties.

During the meeting, President Garanis conveyed his expectation that Romanian tourists will revive their interest in the Rhodope region with the lifting of the pandemic measures to Consul General Dima.

In addition, the Consul General stated that the Municipality of Komotini took part in the International Tourism Fair held in the capital Bucharest last February, through the Region Presidency of East Macedonia - Thrace.

At the end of the visit meeting, the parties presented each other with gifts.
