Real estate prices on the rise in Western Thrace
According to market data, residential property prices in Western Thrace showed an upward trend in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.
During the third quarter of 2024, price increases were observed in Rhodope, Xanthi, and Evros, with Xanthi leading the regional price growth.
As in many parts of the country, the high demand for affordable housing and limited supply have pushed property prices upward in Thrace as well.
Here is the breakdown of the average residential sale prices per square meter in Q4 2024 compared to Q4 2023 in Western Thrace:
Meriç (Evros): Average price rose from €1,412 in 2023 to €1,485 in 2024 — an increase of 5.20%.
İskeçe (Xanthi): Average price rose from €1,000 in 2023 to €1,096 in 2024 — an increase of 9.60%.
Rhodop (Rodophe): Average price rose from €952 in 2023 to €1,033 in 2024 — an increase of 8.40%.
