Racist acts were committed by racists against the Turks in the quarantine zone which was implemented due to the coronavirus in Şahin Village of İskeçe.
Firstly, the president of Greek Solution Party Kiriakos Velopoulos has published a scandalous Tweet targeting the minority. The Tweet is as follows: Şahin is in Quarantine!!!!! There are living the spies of Ankara who are constantly entering and leaving the country! Just think what does the country of Erdogan has!
Velopouls by publishing this Tweet has shown once again his racist attitude against the minority just like he did before against the Turks and Islam.
Another act was committed by the reporter of ERT TV channel, by keeping a distance from the villager and asking him why does he not wear a mask. A paradox here is that the reporter himself does not wear neither a mask nor gloves at all.
This act was perceived as an intentional act targeting the minority and creating the perception of "Echinos Virus". The most common reaction by the Turks in Greece against those actions was saying that the world could get away from coronavirus but not racist virus.
