Prime Minister’s Office Coordinator in Northern Greece to visit the Municipality of Maroneia-Sapes

Elena Sokou, the Coordinator of the Prime Minister’s Office in Northern Greece, is conducting a two-day visit to the Municipality of Maroneia-Sapes today and tomorrow.
On Friday, April 25, her program includes meetings with Mayor Apostolos Ioannou at the Sapes Town Hall, as well as visits to the Sapes Police Department, the Sapes Health Center, and the repatriated citizens' settlement in Sapes. She is also scheduled to meet with the Union of Professionals and Craftsmen of Sapes.
On Saturday, April 26, Sokou will chair a meeting with local authorities in Xylagani, followed by visits to the Folklore Museum of Xylagani, the traditional settlement of Maroneia, and a guided tour along the municipality’s coastal area.
Her visit underscores the central government’s interest in regional development and direct dialogue with local communities in Northern Greece.
