President of Xanthi Turkish Union Ozan Ahmetoğlu in Strasbourg
Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu and Lawyer İlker Çavuşoğlu are in Strasbourg to hold talks with the Council of Europe and permanent representations.
Xanthi Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, in his statement on his social media account, stated that they will hold some meetings in Strasbourg to implement the decisions regarding Turkish minority associations, which Greece has not implemented for 14 years.
ITB President Ahmetoğlu made the following statement:
“As the Xanthi Turkish Union, we are in Strasbourg to hold talks at the Council of Europe and with permanent representations.
Our demand and expectation is the implementation of the ECtHR decisions regarding Turkish minority associations, which Greece has not implemented for 14 years, the restoration of the legal status and legal personality of Xanthi Turkish Union and other Turkish minority associations, and the end of the injustice, injustice, and victimization that has been going on since 1983.
