Preparations Continue for Seçek Events
Efforts are in full swing at the Mehrikoz football field to ensure the success of the historic Seçek Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events, scheduled for this weekend.
Organized by the Seçek Minority Education and Culture Association, the historic Seçek Oil Wrestling and Cultural Events will take place at the Mehrikoz football field from August 2 to 4, 2024.
The association, in collaboration with the Kozlukebir Municipality, is addressing the necessary preparations at the event site.
Under the supervision of Osman Hoca Osman, the Deputy Mayor responsible for the Mehrikoz region, municipal workers have cleaned the field and its surroundings, and have started watering to green the event area.
The association’s management and members are working on setting up seating areas, providing chairs, and meeting other needs for the guests who will attend the events.
As in previous years, thousands of compatriots are expected to participate in these historic events organized by the Seçek Minority Education and Culture Association. The events will commence with a Mevlid-i Şerif at Mehrikoz Mosque on Friday, August 2, 2024, and conclude with the finals of the wrestling matches and a music concert on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
