East Macedonia-Thrace Police Association wants a passport control center to be established in Şahin (Echinos).
It was noteworthy that the passport control center in Şahin was among the issues discussed by the Eastern Macedonia-Thrace Police Association in its ordinary board of directors meeting.
In the written explanation made after the meeting, it was stated that as the management of the association, they expressed more functional problems and suggested solutions.
Association officials, who also expressed their opinions on issues such as union rights, overtime hours, border region premium and full functioning of health centers, suggested the establishment of a passport control center in Şahin.
The police association expressed its opinion on the need to establish police control centers to carry out passport control on Eksohi-Drama, Nemfea-Rodop and Şahin-Ilıca crossing roads, which have border gates with Bulgaria.
At the passport control points to be established, they will be met by the personnel taken urgently.
