Person on capsized boat rescued in Avdira

The person in the boat was found and rescued as a result of the searches.

At noon on Sunday, the Coast Guard in Xanthi was alerted about the capsizing of a boat with one person on board off Avdira. A Coast Guard boat was immediately sent to the scene.

Coastguard teams and volunteers searched off Avdira and Mirodato for traces of the boat and after a while found the boat. The person on the capsized boat was rescued.
