Panthrakikos secures promotion to Greece’s Super League 2 after 10 years
Representing Gümülcine in the Greek third division, Panthrakikos mathematically guaranteed both the league title and promotion with two matches remaining in the season after a dominant 5-1 victory over Elassona.
The historic result sparked celebrations across Gümülcine, where supporters welcomed the club’s long-awaited return to professional football. Panthrakikos last competed in Super League 2 during the 2016–2017 season.
