Ozgur Ferhat: "Our cherries were the most damaged by hail"
Noting that the hail was especially effective in Bulatköy, Gebecili, Eşekçili, Ayazma and Sendelli villages, MP Ferhat stated that the cherry producers suffered serious damage due to the rainfall in the region.
"Our cherries suffered the most from the hail." Ferhat said, "The first hand of our cherries has almost disappeared. As I am currently in Athens, I cannot visit our people in our villages. I will contact ELGA and closely follow the damage assessment works."
Stating that the first hands in cherry production have almost disappeared, Ferhat stated that they contacted the ELGA organisation to compensate the producers' losses.
Finally, Ferhat stated that when he returns to the region after his contacts in Athens, he will meet with the cherry producers in the region and added that he will take all kinds of initiatives to compensate the damage in the best way possible.
