Opposition calls for urgent meeting for “Horozlu cemetery”
Bulustra (Avdira) Municipality opposition wing requests an emergency council meeting from Bulustra (Avdira) Mayor Giorgos Tsitiridis, who destroyed the Ottoman Muslim Turkish cemetery in Horozlu (Petinos) with construction equipment.
According to the information obtained by MİLLET newspaper, with the petition to be signed and deposited by those elected as council members to Bulustra Municipality with the lists of Sakis Kritsinis and Vasilis Tsolakidis, they will request an emergency council meeting with the title of "Horozlu Cemetery".
It has been reported that the said request will be forwarded to the mayor and to the municipal administration with the signature of the 12 members of the opposition council. The urgent meeting is expected to be held within the week.
Mayor Tsitiridis, who plundered the Ottoman Turkish cemetery with Roosters, does not have the right to answer "no" to the petition demanding an emergency meeting with 12 signatures.
It was noted that the day and time of the emergency meeting with the title of "Plooted Rooster Cemetery" will be determined in the coming days.
