“Open Business” digital platform to be introduced to local businesses in Gümülcine
The Rhodope Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host an information session on Wednesday, April 22, to introduce the newly implemented digital licensing platform Open Business to local businesses.
Organized in cooperation with the Rhodope Regional Development Directorate, the event will focus on helping enterprises transition smoothly to the new system, which centralizes all licensing and notification procedures under a single digital framework.
Officials state that the “Open Business” platform has become mandatory for businesses, streamlining administrative processes and improving efficiency across multiple sectors.
Who Must Use the System?
The platform applies to a wide range of industries, including:
- Manufacturing and wholesale trade
- Tourism and food services
- Service providers and technical maintenance
- Education and social care institutions
- Livestock and environmental infrastructure operations
- Engineers and technical consultants
What Will Be Covered?
Participants will receive a hands-on overview of:
- Digital application and document upload procedures
- Legal obligations for businesses
- The compliance transition period running until December 31, 2026
- Practical guidance on using the platform
- Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to officials.
The session will take place at 18:30 local time at the Rodopi Chamber’s event hall in Gümülcine. Participation is free of charge, but prior registration is required.
