New executive board assigned at the Xanthi Turkish Union
POST-ELECTION DUTIES FORMALLY ASSIGNED
The Xanthi Turkish Union (İskeçe Türk Birliği) has completed the distribution of responsibilities among members of its newly elected executive and audit boards. The assignment followed the General Assembly held on Sunday, April 27, 2025.
The internal meeting to determine roles took place on Wednesday, April 30, under the leadership of General Assembly Chair Mehmet Hacıhalil.
Kerem Abdurahimoğlu has been appointed as the new president of the Union. Following the meeting, the newly formed boards visited the grave of Mehmet Hilmi, the founder and prominent intellectual figure behind the Xanthi Turkish Union, to honor his legacy.
BOARD COMPOSITION ANNOUNCED
The Executive Board now consists of Kerem Abdurahimoğlu (President), İsmet Tüccar (Vice President), İpek Salihoglu (General Secretary), Zeynur Bargan (Treasurer), and members Aydın Cambaz, Seher Ahmet, and Seval Alıdayı. Selin Delioğlu has been appointed as a reserve member.
The Audit Board is composed of Murat Sebahattinoğlu (Chair), Hamza Karadayı, and Aysun Kara.
