National Youth Forum “Designing the Future Together” successfully concludes in Gümülcine
The National Youth Forum “Designing the Future Together” concluded with great success and strong participation in Gümülcine. The three-day event was held on 5–7 December 2025 at the amphitheatre of the Old Law School and was organized by the Municipality of Gümülcine within the framework of the European programme Youth Think City Links under Erasmus+ Youth, in collaboration with the Youth and Volunteering Centre exagono and the Gümülcine Municipal Youth Council (DΗ.SY.N.).
The forum brought together numerous Youth Councils from various regions of Greece, institutional representatives, active young citizens, and youth-focused groups. Throughout the event, an atmosphere of cooperation, knowledge exchange, and creative thinking prevailed.
Rich Programme and Active Participation
The forum featured speeches, discussions, workshops, and activities centred around five key pillars of the European Youth Dialogue:
- quality employment,
- information and constructive dialogue,
- youth organisations and European programmes,
- a sustainable green Europe,
- and an inclusive society.
Participants had the opportunity to exchange good practices, collaborate in working groups, and formulate joint proposals, strengthening the network among municipal youth councils across the country.
Positive Atmosphere and Excellent Organisation
All sessions ran smoothly, with excellent organisation and enthusiastic engagement from the young participants. Representatives from various bodies highlighted the importance of such initiatives in fostering the meaningful involvement of the younger generation in policy-making processes.
Collective Conclusions and Next Steps
At the end of the three-day forum, the working groups presented their collective conclusions, which will be used in shaping local and national youth strategies. Participants also agreed to continue their collaboration and reconvene in the future for joint initiatives and actions.
