Mümin Mümin announces his candidature for mayor
Following the resignation of Önder Mümin as mayor, the elected members of the FORWARD List held a meeting among themselves and decided that Mümin Mümin, who was elected as a councillor from Çepelli village, was worthy of the mayorship.
It was wondered whether Mümin Mümin, who has been the Mayor of Yassıköy for a while, would be a candidate for the mayorship in the upcoming local elections.
The public's curiosity ended with Mümin Mümin's statement regarding his candidacy. Mümin Mümin announced to the public that he will be a presidential candidate for Yassıköy Municipality in the local elections to be held on 8 October 2023.
In his statement on his social media account, Mümin Mümin stated the following:
"ESTEEMED MEMBERS OF YASSIKOY MUNICIPALITY
I would like to share with the valuable public and you, my esteemed fellow citizens, that I am also aspiring for the mayor's duty that I am currently carrying out in the next term.
In a difficult period for our municipality, we took over this blessed and honourable duty by wearing a shirt of fire. We have tried and will continue to serve our people by putting forward a constructive municipalism understanding, taking care to embrace everyone.
I expect you to support me in this journey in my political struggle and I believe with all my heart that we will carry Yassıköy Municipality to the position it deserves by working hand in hand.
