Muftis of Komotini and Xanthi to participate as speakers in a panel at Namik Kemal University
İbrahim Şerif, President of the Advisory Board of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority and also Mufti of Komotini and Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, will participate as speakers in the panel 'Religious Situation of Western Thrace Turks in Bulgaria and Greece' within the scope of the activities of the Union of Thrace Universities (TÜB).
The panel, which will be hosted by Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University (NKÜ), will be held on Thursday, 23 May at 14:30 at Tekirdağ NKÜ Rectorate Conference Hall.
In the statement made by Rector of Tekirdağ Namik Kemal University Prof. Dr. Mümin Şahin, it was stated that Mufti İbrahim Şerif, Mufti of Komotini and Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, as well as Vedat Ahmet, President of the Bulgarian Supreme Islamic Council, will take part as speakers in the panel to which the whole public is invited.
