Mufti Şerif visits the cemetery in Narlıköy which was attacked
İbrahim Şerif, President of the Consultative Committee of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and Mufti of Komotini, made a statement on the attack on the Turkish cemetery in Narlıköy.
Following the attack on the Turkish cemetery in Narlıköy of Yassıköy Municipality and the breaking of the gravestones of many graves, BTTADK President and İbrahim Şerif visited the cemetery and showed his reaction with a written statement on social media.
Mufti İbrahim Şerif, who demanded that those who organised the attack on the cemetery be found and punished, stated the following in his statement.
"About twenty graves in the cemetery of our compatriots in Komotini-Narlıköy were vandalised by unknown persons. The perpetrators will be found and hopefully the necessary punishment will be given."
