MP Hüseyin Zeybek requests employment of veterinarians

İskeçe New Left MP Hüseyin Zeybek has called on the relevant ministries and regional authorities to employ more veterinarians. He submitted a report to parliament based on a letter from the Federation of Elected Civil Servants' Associations of Greece.
The letter emphasizes the need for immediate action to combat recent outbreaks of diseases like plague among animals in Greece. The Federation has requested that vacant veterinarian positions in both the Ministry of Agriculture and regional governments be filled without delay.
The letter also calls for the immediate appointment of veterinarians based on the results of the State Civil Service Exam System (ASEP). The Federation stressed the importance of employing veterinarians to conduct scientific research aimed at preventing animal diseases. They also urged the government to provide full financial and moral support to scientists conducting such research in laboratories.
