"Moonlit Night" event held in Gümülcine

On the evening of Thursday, July 10, the Municipality of Komotini, in collaboration with the Thrace Astronomy Association, organized an event titled "Moonlit Night" in front of the Sword Monument.
On the evening of Thursday, July 10, the Municipality of Gümülcine, in collaboration with the Thrace Astronomy Association, organized an event titled "Moonlit Night" in front of the Sword Monument.
Participants had the opportunity to observe the full moon and stars through telescopes. Members of the Thrace Astronomy Association guided both children and adults, sharing information about the night sky.
The evening was further enriched by performances from pianist Veronika Semertzidu and the ALMA LIBRE Dance Group, adding artistic flair to the astronomical gathering.
