Mehrikoz Imam Ali Haseki sent to his last journey
Imam Ali Haseki, one of the important people of the region, who served the people for years as an imam in Mehrikoz village of Kozlukebir Municipality, passed away yesterday evening.
Ali Haseki was spending his last years in Kozlukebir village with his son Mehmet Haseki, who was the village clergyman, due to his advanced age and illnesses.
For Haseki, who passed away at the age of 81, a funeral ceremony was held today at his house in Kozlukebir village.
At the ceremony organised following the afternoon prayer, the family members, relatives, village people and loved ones were asked for their condolences.
After the prayer the body was taken to Kozlukebir Big Cemetery.
After the funeral prayer, Ali Haseki was buried by his loved ones and sent off to his last journey.
The funeral of Ali Haseki, who won the love of everyone with his services in the Mehrikoz region and his struggle for keeping the values of the minority community alive, was attended by hundreds of cognates from many villages.
