Magnificent hatim ceremony in Mustafçova village
On Sunday 5 May 2024, the Hatim ceremony of Mustafçova Qur'an Course, which operates within the Mufti's Office of Xanthi, took place with a great participation.
In addition to the Virtuous Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa, MP Hüseyin Zeybek, Mayor of Mustafçova Ahmet Kurt, members of the Provincial and Municipal Councils, former Mayors Rıdvan Deli Hüseyin and Cemil Kabza, Deputy Chairman of the FEP Party Bahri Belço, FEP Party MEP candidates, many religious officials and thousands of spectators participated. The successful performance of the students trained by the teachers of Mustafçova, in particular Sinan İsmailko, was appreciated by the participants.
After the hatim, greeting speeches were made by the protocol. In his speech, Mufti Trampa congratulated the students, their families and the teachers who trained them, and expressed his gratitude to the Muslim Turks of Mustafçova who contributed to the realisation of this magnificent hatim ceremony which hosted thousands of people. He also emphasised the importance of the family, which is the smallest unit of a society, and stated that unity and solidarity and the formation of a strong society with religious and national values can only be achieved through the establishment of strong families and that the family institution should be given importance for our future.
The other speakers congratulated the children and expressed their gratitude to those who had contributed to the organisation of the hatim ceremony. After the greetings, the children presented a bouquet of flowers to the protocol members. After the prayer, the participants were served pilaf with meat.
