“Loyalty to the Gentires” visits continue...

Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, visited the retired imam Salih Cambaz at his home on Sunday, March 19, 2023, as part of his " Loyalty to the Gentries” program.
In the statement made by the Xanthi Mufti, the following information about the visit was given:
“Our Mufti Mustafa Trampa and Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu visited our teacher and retired imam Salih Canbaz on Sunday March 19th 2023.
Veteran imam Cambaz who was born in 1944 Gökçepınar (Glafki) spent his life as an imam in his own village and served the Qur'an course, at his home in the village of Gökçepınar where he resides. In this visit, which was carried out within the scope of the “ Loyalty to the Gentries” program, the current Imam of Gökçepınar Erkan Azizoğlu, the President of the Çınar Association, who is also his son-in-law, Cengiz Ömer, imam Hamdi Bekir, Qur'an Course Teachers Salih Belço and Salih İmam were also present.
Our teacher, Gökçepınar Former Imam-Orator Salih Cabbaz, received his first Quran education from his own father, Hafız Hasan Efendi. Then continued his primary school in his own village and completed his education at Şahin Madrasah.
Our teacher continued his duty as imam and preacher, which he took over from his father in 1976, until 2009 when he retired.
In addition to being an imam in the village, he also worked as a teacher at the primary school until the 1980s. When his teaching duties were terminated, he took part in the Qur'an Course operating under the supervision of the Mufti Office of Xanthi.
Our teacher Salih Canbaz, who almost spent his life as an imam, with all kinds of services in the village, and with the struggle for Islam and Turkishness, spends his life with his son in his village as a grateful servant despite his health problems.
At the end of the visit, our Mufti Mustafa Trampa presented the book “ Xanthi Mosques and Masjids” to him.
Our teacher Salih Canbaz also expressed his satisfaction with this visit and expressed his gratitude to our Mufti Trampa for the gift.”
