The life of İbrahim Şerif, the Elected Mufti of Komotini, has been documented in a new book published by the Western Thrace Minority Culture and Education Company (BAKEŞ). Titled "İbrahim Şerif: A Story of Struggle," the book marks BAKEŞ's 62nd publication and was authored by Dr. Hüseyin Bostancı.
In a statement shared on social media, BAKEŞ highlighted the significance of the book in shedding light on the recent history of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and their struggle for rights, as seen through the experiences of Mufti İbrahim Şerif, one of the movement's central figures.
The book will be introduced to readers through promotional events expected to take place in the coming days.
