Kozlukebir Municipality has announced a payment facilitation plan for residents with outstanding drinking water debts, allowing them to pay their debts in up to 60 installments.

In a statement issued by the municipality, the following details were provided:

From November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, residents with debts to the municipality can restructure their payments in up to 60 installments.

Key points:

Minimum installment amount: €50.
Maximum repayment period: 60 months.
Installments cover both principal and interest.
Debts referred to the tax authority (eforia) are also eligible for restructuring.
Crucially, residents can benefit from interest reductions:

95% of interest is waived if paid in one installment.
85% reduction for 2-6 installments.
80% reduction for 7-12 installments.
75% reduction for 13-60 installments.
Low-income households must provide documentation from their accountant to qualify for interest waivers.

The municipality's announcement encourages all residents with water debt to take advantage of this payment plan. This opportunity is also available to other municipalities and indebted citizens.
