ITB and GTGB teams participate in the Hıdrellez Festival in North Macedonia
Within the scope of the event, which is the first official Turkish festival in North Macedonia and held for the 31st time this year, the ITB Folk Dance Team under the direction of Tulin Hacıhalil took the stage at the opening performances on Saturday, 4 May. The event was attended by Fatih Ulusoy, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Skopje, former President of North Macedonia Ivanov and Presidential candidate Siljanovska and high-level officials from North Macedonia. In the evening of the same day, the team performed in Ustrumca square. On Sunday 7 May, the team of Xanthi Turkish Union took the stage in the Festival Final performances held in Çalıklı village and received great appreciation from the audience. For the first time this year, the folk dances team of ITB played and sung by Burak Kabza and the folk dances team performed Gündoğdu Zeybeği, which attracted great interest. The performance of Murat Sebahattinoğlu, manager of Xanthi Turkish Union and member of the Folk Dances Team, received great applause. After the programme, gifts were exchanged with the Festival Managers.
İTB and GTGB teams returned to Greece on Sunday evening, 5 May.
