İskeçe Turkish Union to organize large-scale picnic event at Çamlar Beach
The İskeçe Turkish Union will organize a large community picnic event on Saturday, 20 June, at Çamlar Denizi (Erasmio Beach), bringing together families and community members for an afternoon of activities, entertainment and social gathering.
The event will take place between 15:00 and 18:00 and will feature live music, recreational activities and a variety of family-friendly entertainment programs. Organizers have invited the public to attend with the slogan, “Bring your picnic basket and chair.”
As part of the program, participants will be able to take part in several traditional and recreational games, including tennis, volleyball, tug of war and sack races, aimed at encouraging community participation and family engagement.
Transportation will be provided for attendees, with a shuttle service scheduled to depart at 14:00 from the Yaka bus stop to the event area. Organizers also announced that information regarding the event can be obtained via contact numbers provided to the public.
The picnic is expected to draw wide participation from the local community, serving as a social and cultural gathering point for residents of İskeçe and surrounding areas.
