Students introduced to dentistry and pharmacy careers in Western Thrace
The Association of Western Thrace Minority University Graduates (BTAYTD) has organised a career guidance event introducing students to dentistry and pharmacy, providing information about university programmes, professional opportunities and the practical aspects of both fields.
The event, titled “Introduction to Dentistry and Pharmacy Programmes”, was organised by the association’s Professional Guidance and Counselling Committee on Friday, 6 November.
Dentist Ayşe Galip and pharmacist Gülden Hüseyinoğlu attended the event as guest speakers.
INSIGHTS INTO EDUCATION AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The programme was held in two separate groups, allowing students to learn more about dentistry and pharmacy through presentations and discussions with professionals working in the respective fields.
The guest speakers introduced professional materials they had brought with them and shared their knowledge and experience regarding university education, career paths and the practical responsibilities associated with each profession.
Students also had the opportunity to ask questions and gain first-hand insights into both career options, helping them make more informed decisions about their future studies and professional ambitions.
The event concluded with an exchange of information and experience, as part of the association’s efforts to support young people's educational and career choices.
