İskeçe Turkish Minority School to hold traditional senior-class bazaar on September 25-26
The traditional senior-class bazaar organized by students of the İskeçe Turkish Minority Secondary School and High School will take place on September 25-26, bringing students, families and members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority together.
Preparations are underway for the annual Senior-Class Bazaar organized by final-year students of the İskeçe Turkish Minority Secondary School and High School.
The two-day event will be held at the school’s Sports Complex in Aşağımahalle on Friday, September 25, and Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The bazaar will open at 2 p.m. on September 25 and continue until 10 p.m. On September 26, it will run from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Food, entertainment and family activities
The bazaar will feature various entertainment areas for both children and adults, alongside a wide selection of food and desserts.
One of the event’s highlights is expected to be its popular grilled meatballs, which traditionally attract considerable interest. Various other homemade foods and desserts prepared by students and parents will also be available at the stalls.
The annual bazaar has become an important social gathering for students, parents and members of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority, providing an opportunity for the community to come together in an atmosphere of solidarity, sharing and unity.
Everyone invited
The İskeçe Turkish Minority Secondary School and High School has invited the entire community to attend the traditional bazaar.
Organizers expect the event, enriched by the preparations of the final-year students, to bring together large numbers of community members from İskeçe and surrounding areas over the two days.
