İskeçe Mufti Mustafa Trampa issues message on the three holy months and Regaip Night
The Mufti of İskeçe, Mustafa Trampa, has issued a written message marking the beginning of the Three Holy Months in Islam and the upcoming Regaip Night, calling on believers to make the most of this spiritually significant period.
In his message titled “The Season of Mercy and Peace: The Three Holy Months and Regaip Night,” Mufti Trampa emphasized that the Three Holy Months—Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan—represent a season of mercy, blessing and spiritual purification in the Islamic calendar.
He noted that Regaip Night will be observed on Thursday night, Dec. 25, while Sunday, Dec. 21 marks the first day of Rajab, the first of the Three Holy Months. According to Mufti Trampa, these months are a time when divine mercy is abundant, hearts are filled with tranquility and believers are encouraged to turn toward worship, repentance and moral renewal.
Citing the Prophet Muhammad’s prayers and sayings regarding the virtues of Rajab, Sha’ban and Ramadan, Mufti Trampa underlined the unique spiritual value of these months. He described them as an opportunity for believers to cleanse themselves of sins through repentance, increase their acts of worship, strengthen their connection with God and adorn their lives with good deeds.
Mufti Trampa also stressed that the Three Holy Months provide an important opportunity for self-reflection and moral accountability, urging Muslims to reassess their responsibilities toward God, family, society and humanity as a whole. He called for overcoming divisions, personal conflicts and narrow self-interests, and for strengthening unity, brotherhood, tolerance and social harmony.
Referring to the approaching end of 2025 and the beginning of 2026, Mufti Trampa reminded believers of the passage of time and human accountability, quoting a verse from the Qur’an (Surah Al-Anbiya) that warns against heedlessness as the time for reckoning draws near.
Concluding his message, Mufti Trampa extended his congratulations on the occasion of the Three Holy Months and Regaip Night, praying that believers may be among those who draw closer to God through these sacred times, attain spiritual elevation, forgiveness and salvation, and ultimately earn the reward promised to the faithful.
