International meeting held in Alexandroupolis under the Erasmus+ Program
Students from Turkey, France, and Portugal came together in Alexandroupolis as part of the European Union-supported Erasmus+ Program. Held under the slogan "Democracy for Everyone, Everyone for Democracy," the event brought young people from diverse cultures together.
Participants were hosted by the families of students from Alexandroupolis 3rd General High School, offering them a chance to experience local culture. As part of the program, they visited the Alexandroupolis City Hall, where they met with Mayor Yiannis Zamboukis and Deputy Mayor for Education and Culture Eva Valasidou. Additionally, City Council President Hristos Gougoulakis provided insights into the workings of the council and the local decision-making processes.
The event aimed to promote international cooperation in education while fostering values such as democracy, multiculturalism, and solidarity. It served as an important platform for students to exchange knowledge and engage in cultural interaction.
