Intense interest to the book launch programme in Xanthi

In the event where four different books were presented, literature enthusiasts completely filled the Xanthi Turkish Union clubhouse.

The book launch programme in Xanthi started at 18.00 on Sunday evening. Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, Hüseyin Baltacı, President of WTMUGA Association, Ozan Ahmetoğlu, President of Xanthi Turkish Union, Bahri Belço, Vice President of FEP Party and many book enthusiasts attended the book launch programme.

In the event, the poetry book "Close to the Sun" by Müberra Karadayı from Xanthi, the short story book titled "To Those Who Remain" by Hüseyin Mehmet from Komotini, the poetry book titled "The Poet Who Burned His Divan" by Mehmet Arif from North Macedonia and the short story book titled "Faces Without Cover" by Medadin Limani from Western Thrace were introduced.

Müberra Karadayı, the author of the poetry book "Close to the Sun" from Xanthi, took the floor and informed the participants about her authorship and the book she wrote.

Afterwards, Hüseyin Mehmet from Komotini, Concessionaire of Fiyaka Magazine and author of the story book titled "Kalanlar", made a speech and told the participants about his interest in books and how his writing adventure started. Afterwards, Mehmet Arif from North Macedonia, the author of the poetry book titled "The Poet Who Burned His Divan", and Medadin Limani, the author of the short story book titled "Faces Without Cover", took the floor and talked about the books and the process of starting to be a writer.

Finally, Abdürrahim Karadeniz, who attended the event from Ankara, Turkey, took the floor and shared his ideas on the importance of writing books and how valuable books contribute to the survival of a language.

Book lovers showed great interest in the books published by Uzam Publications after the promotion event.

After the event, the authors signed their books.
