Illegal immigrant-carrying vehicle spotted on Egnatia Motorway in opposite direction

A new one was added today to the vehicles travelling in the opposite direction on the Egnatia motorway.
Today (Tuesday, 1 August) at noon, a blue Qashqai car was detected travelling in the opposite direction from Alexandroupoli towards Komotini. It was reported that Kösemescit toll plaza between Komotini and Alexandroupoli was closed in order to stop the vehicle which was travelling at an extremely high speed.
It was stated that the vehicle travelling in the opposite direction was carrying illegal immigrants.
