Human and minority rights experts pay visit to FEP Party
Within the framework of the fact-finding visit organised by the Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF), human and minority rights experts who made contacts in Western Thrace visited the FEP Party.
ABTTF's exploratory visit was attended by Assoc. Prof. Martin Klatt, Head of the Dano-German Minority Issues Department of the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) and Lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark, Petranka Nedelcheva and Magdalena Marinova from the Bulgarian National Museum of History and Melek Kırmacı, ABTTF International Relations Director, together with the directors of non-governmental organisations of the Turkish minority and journalists from the minority press.
Within the scope of the contacts in Western Thrace, the delegation also visited the Friendship, Equality and Peace Party. In the statement made by the party regarding the visit of the minority and human rights experts, it was stated that
"As part of their exploratory visit to our region, Assoc. Prof. Martin Klatt, Head of the Department of Danish-German Minority Issues of the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI) and Lecturer at the University of Southern Denmark, Petranka Nedelcheva, Magdalena Marinova from the Bulgarian National History Museum and Melek Kırmacı, ABTTF International Relations Director, paid a visit to our Party. We would like to thank them for their kind visit to our Party within the framework of the programme prepared with the contributions of ABTTF."
