Meeting with representatives of the Hotel Owners Association in Rhodope

The President of the Rhodope Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EBEP), Antonis Gravanis met with representatives of the Thrace Hotel Owners Association. The promotion of Rhodope as an alternative tourist destination and the utilization of its businesses, for its tourist promotion, with the aim of placing the Prefecture of Rhodope, its products and services on the Greek tourist and agri-food map discussed in the meeting.

“The president of EBEP Mr. Gravanis met with the representatives of the Hotel Owners Association of Thrace. The meeting discussed the promotion of Rhodope as an alternative tourist destination and the utilization of its businesses, for its tourist promotion, with the aim of placing the Prefecture of Rhodope, its products and services on the Greek tourist and agri-food map.

A working meeting with representatives of the Hotel Owners Association of Thrace, and specifically of the Prefecture of Rhodope Mr. Chrysochoidis Georgios and Mr. Papanastasiou Nikolaos, had the President of the Professional and Craft Chamber of Rhodope, Antonis Gravanis and the General Secretary Mr. Pantelis Chaviaris.

The main topic of discussion was the promotion of Rhodope as an alternative tourist destination and the utilization of its businesses, for its tourist promotion, with the aim of placing the Prefecture of Rhodope, its products and services on the Greek tourist and agri-food map.

In the context of promotion and promotion, it was decided the immediate realization of familiarization trips in the prefecture by public opinion makers, highlighting the peculiarities and diversity of the prefecture of Rhodope, of the excellent products and services, through their social networks.

The goal is in February to make the first familiarization trip (Fam trip), with invited, Greek public opinion makers active in the field of tourism. The planning and organization of their hosting program will include, in addition to touring the tourist attractions of Rhodope, visits to businesses in the agri-food area and catering, with the aim of promoting the authentic gastronomic experience of the prefecture of Rhodope.

The Professional and Craft Chamber of Rhodope intends to deepen in destination management, focusing on the diversity of the region, history, culture, but also the agri-food wealth and gastronomy.”
