Health screenings scheduled in villages of Gümülcine Municipality
The Mobile Health Teams (KOMY) of Greece’s National Public Health Organization (EODY) will conduct free preventive health screenings in villages under the Gümülcine Municipality from December 9 to 29, 2025.
Supported by local community representatives, specially trained healthcare personnel will provide services to residents in their villages, as well as to individuals coming from nearby areas. The program includes preventive health examinations, detailed collection of patient medical histories, information on vaccinations, and clinical evaluations by doctors.
Mobile teams will be present in the villages from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with home visits between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. for residents with mobility difficulties.
Additionally, KOMY teams will continue regular home visits for elderly and vulnerable residents in the city center in cooperation with the Gümülcine Municipality’s “Home Assistance” program.
