Gümülcine Mufti’s Office brings young readers together with “Book Club” initiative
The first meeting of the “Book Club”, launched by the Youth Coordination Office of the Gümülcine Mufti’s Office, took place on Friday, November 28, 2025.
The project aims to strengthen young people’s relationship with books in Western Thrace and enhance their ability to express their thoughts freely.
At the inaugural session, participants discussed a book focusing on the Palestinian issue, described as one of humanity’s enduring crises. Young attendees introduced themselves and shared their reflections on the reading.
Representatives from the Women’s Guidance Team of the Mufti’s Youth Coordination Office also attended, providing information about the club’s objectives and future plans. The club is expected to continue meeting regularly to explore books across various genres.
