Gümülcine Muftiate to organize Berat Night Program
The Gümülcine Muftiate has announced that it will organize a Mawlid program on the occasion of Berat Night, allowing the Muslim community in the Rhodope and Evros regions to celebrate this sacred night in various mosques.
As part of the tradition of gathering for significant Islamic nights, the Muftiate aims to bring the community together in prayer and worship during Berat Night.
Under the slogan "Let’s Be Together on Berat Night," special Mawlid programs will take place at several mosques, including Yenimahalle Mosque, Çepelli Village Mosque, Basırlıköy Mosque, Dolapçılar Village Mosque, K. Sarıca Village Mosque, and Bıyıklıköy Mosque in the Rhodope region, as well as Dikilitaş Village Mosque in the Evros region.
Scheduled for Thursday evening, February 13, 2025, the program will commence after the Isha prayer. The event will feature the recitation of the Holy Quran, hymns, religious odes, and the Mawlid-i Şerif, followed by prayers for divine blessings and forgiveness.
