Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni to visit Gümülcine on September 1–2
Olga Kefalogianni, Greece’s Minister of Tourism, will visit Gümülcine for a two-day tour on September 1 and 2. According to the Rhodope regional party office (DEEP Rodopis), the minister will meet with local government and business representatives, tour the city’s marketplace, and engage with citizens and entrepreneurs.
Minister’s schedule (so far):
Monday, September 1: Arrival in Komotini and visit to youth centers.
Tuesday, September 2:
10:30 – Visit to the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
11:30 – Visit to Tsanakleio and the Karatheodori Museum; meeting with the Mayor of Komotini.
12:30 – Walking tour of the city and marketplace.
13:30 – Meeting with the Hoteliers’ Association (Anatolia Hotel).
14:00 – Meeting with DEEP Rodopi and statements to the press.
