Gazze Conference Held in Istanbul

Representing Western Thrace, Hakkı Kırdali, Qur’an course instructor at the Elected Muftiate of Gümülcine, attended the event.
The international conference titled “An Islamic and Human Responsibility: Gaza”, jointly organized by the International Union of Muslim Scholars and the Foundation of Islamic Scholars, took place in Istanbul from August 22 to 29, 2025.
Representing Western Thrace, Hakkı Kırdali, Qur’an course instructor at the Elected Muftiate of Gümülcine, attended the event.
During the conference, participants discussed ways to provide support and aid for Gaza, emphasizing the need to fulfill Islamic and humanitarian responsibilities in the most effective manner.
The gathering brought together around 200 scholars from 50 countries and concluded with the release of a final declaration.
