The late Dr. Sadik Ahmet's daughter, lawyer Funda Sadik Ahmet, was appointed as the Vice President of Legal Affairs of the Great Union Party (BBP). The statement regarding the assignment of Western Thrace lawyer Funda Sadik Ahmet, residing in Istanbul, was announced through a post on the BBP social media account.

“The symbolic name of the Western Thrace Turks' struggle for rights late Dr. Sadık Ahmet's daughter, lawyer Funda Sadik Ahmet, has been appointed as the Vice President of Legal Affairs of our party, with the proposal of Mikail Şahan, the Head of Legal Affairs, and with the approval of our Chairman, Mr. Mustafa Destici.”
