Free preventive medical exams for women 45+ in the Municipality of Topiros
In collaboration with the organization "Mission HUMAN," basic medical exams are being provided to women from vulnerable groups.
The Municipality of Topiros, in partnership with the non-profit organization "Mission HUMAN," is implementing the Preventive Medical Program "Mission WOMAN 45+: Embracing – We Live the Needs." The program offers free preventive medical exams to women aged 45 and over from vulnerable social groups who face difficulties accessing healthcare services.
As part of the program, beneficiaries can undergo:
Blood tests
Digital mammography
Breast ultrasound
Bone density measurement
Pap smear test (Pap test)
The initiative began in December 2024 with the support of the Community Center of the Municipality and will run until December 31, 2025. So far, 12 women have completed their exams and received medical advice and guidance for their health.
