FEP Party: This is called “clouding the water”!

The "Spartakos" list, which seem to be disturbed by the fact that the doctors at the Komotini State Hospital spoke Turkish among themselves and with their patients, and that some female minority employees wore headscarves, received an answer from the Friendship Equality Peace Party (DEB), the political organ of Western Thrace Turks.

The answer came from the Equality Peace Party (FEP).

The party management stated that they were trying to muddy the water by emphasizing that the statement made by the Spartakos list was to overshadow the positive atmosphere between the two communities.

THIS IS CALLED WATER BLASTING!

The written statement made by the FEP Party on Spartakos' discomfort with the Turkish minority members working in the hospital is as follows:

"The fact that the Turkish minority doctors at the Komotini State Hospital speak Turkish both among themselves and with their patients, and that some female minority employees wear headscarves, disturbed the "Spartakos" list represented in Komotini Municipality and known for its extreme nationalist views.

Since the Turks were not given public service until the mid-nineties, they were kept away from Greek universities, and they were not even allowed to open pharmacies, it is natural that some friends were not accustomed to such a situation.

For many years, the majority used the rights of the minority in public.

For many years, Turkish patients could not tell their plight to the majority of their doctors, and they were scolded and despised for not speaking Greek.

That's why they always had to go to Türkiye because they couldn't be diagnosed and treated.
A servant of God could not empathize with this situation and say stop.

Today, members of minorities graduate not only from Turkish universities as claimed, but also from Greek universities, and it is a known fact that we have very successful doctors.

Even if they use their mother tongue among themselves, we all witness that they use the official language with their colleagues.

As for the headscarf; everyone should freely practice their faith.

Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion.

Respecting beliefs is a service to peace. Moreover, many health personnel, including doctors in hospitals, wrap their heads in sensitive interventions.

No one should look for a calf under an ox to muddy the water.

Because the minority, which has been struggling with injustices for a century, has a lot of "lord" words to say...”
