Farewell visit from Turkish Consul General Ömeroğlu to the Mufti of Xanthi
Murat Ömeroğlu, Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini, paid a farewell visit to the Xanthi Mufti due to the end of his duty.
It has been reported that Consul General Ömeroğlu will leave Western Thrace on Wednesday, November 30, due to the end of his duty in Komotini.
Murat Ömeroğlu, who served in Western Thrace for 5 years as the Consul General of Türkiye in Komotini, visited the Xanthi Mufti.
Welcomed by Xanthi Mufti Mustafa Trampa and Xanthi Mufti Religious Officials, Murat Ömeroğlu made a short speech and wished to all of them success in their duties.
Expressing his pleasure to serve in Western Thrace for a long time, Ömeroğlu thanked the Mufti of Xanthi Mustafa Trampa for his hospitality and attention.
The farewell visit at the Xanthi Mufti ended with the mutual presentation of gifts by Consul General Ömeroğlu and Mufti Trampa.
Vice Consul Barış Çulha accompanied Consul General Ömeroğlu during his visit to the Mufti of Xanthi.
On the other hand, Mayor of Miki (Mustafçova) Rıdvan Deli Hüseyin and Chairman of the Association of Western Thrace Minority Schools Councilors Ahmet Kara were also present at the farewell visit.
