Extensive intervention by the police for fraud against elderly people in the region
Realizing the dimension that the attempts and frauds against citizens have recently taken, during the period from 17 to 24 July 2023, the General Regional Police Directorate of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace has planned to carry out an action of a social nature in our Region, regarding the protection of citizens and especially the elderly from fraud.
Series of lectures has been planned in settlements throughout the Region.
For the prefecture of Xanthi, the program is as follows:
a) 19-7-2023 during the morning hours at the Cultural Center of Kyrnos, after consultation with competent bodies.
b) 19-7-2023 at 09.00 in the event hall of the Sminthi settlement.
c) 19-7-2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the event hall of the Kentauros settlement.
d) 20-7-2023 at 10:00 a.m. in the event hall of the settlement of Myki.
e) 21-7-2023 during the morning hours at the Toxotes Gymnasium after consultation with competent bodies.
f) 21-7-2023 at 10.00 at K.A.P.H. Stavroupoli.
